Wendi holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Ottawa’s Algonquin College. She has over 11 years experience in the design industry. Her interior design career began in Ottawa & continued to Calgary where she worked at reputable award winning Architecture & Design firms engaged in restaurant & retail projects. Wendi’s zeal for travel & passion for architecture lead her abroad where she worked for a prestigious lighting design firm in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Wendi established Open Door Interior Designs in 2007, a design firm specializing in restaurant, retail, & residential renovations. She’s makes it her business to create better businesses for you & has enjoyed helping many clients create beautiful homes that function in harmony with who they are & how they live.
After recognizing the demand from clients excited to take on a more DYI approach, Wendi developed Open BOX Design in 2011. She has a strong team whom she works closely with to ensure they create cohesive designs which reflect the individual tastes of her clients. Rather than imposing a signature style in every project, Open Door Designs engages their clients to create Open BOX Designs that are always unique & true to you.
